I’m Ken Decoteau, long-time hobbyist writer, low brass player, former Oceanographic Engineer, and most recently, DevOps Cloud IT person. I believe in writing what you know. Indeed, I enjoy molding elements from my decades of professional experience into the adventures of my characters.
Update: Finally, I am actively cleaning up my backlog of projects! My focus is currently on 2021 and newer content in the Modern Action and Adventure genre.
Fallen Apples is now refreshed with a clean copy-edit and new cover in early January, 2025. Book 2 of the series was published at the end of January. In summary, my team will then be releasing one novel every 2-4 weeks until all 5 completed works are alive. (Yes, I have a team now!)
Fallen Apples is mostly Modern Action and Adventure (Fiction). It contains strong military elements, and is backed up by hundreds of hours of research of places, weapon systems, technologies, and people. I will continue using KDP for both paperback 6×9 and Kindle, including EX distribution as an option. There is a plan in place to also offer Hardcover versions.
